Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has arrived in Garowe for an official visit.
The plane carrying Prime Minister and his delegation arrived in Garowe from Mogadishu on Friday, December 11.
Roble received a warm welcome from local leaders, including Puntland’s President Said Abdullahi Deni.
The Prime Minister’s arrival follows his announcement on December 7 during Somali Partnership Forum (SPF) that he would be visiting several Federal Member States (FMS).
During his visit to Garowe, Prime Minister Roble is expected to discuss several important issues with Puntland leaders.
A few issues he is scheduled to address include security, upcoming local and presidential elections, and social services.
