Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble visited the headquarters of Somali Police Force (SPF) on Saturday, October 10.
Roble visited the police headquarters in the company of Maj. Gen. Abdi Hassan Mohamed, the Police Commissioner.
Zakia Hussein, the Deputy Police Commissioner, and the highest-ranking woman office in SPF, also accompanied Prime Minister Roble in his tour of the headquarters.
During his visit, Prime Minister Roble addressed police officers and urged them to not only enhance security but also maintain high standards of discipline in the force.
Meanwhile, Roble promised police officers that the Federal Government of Somalia is working hard to provide for their welfare.
“The protection of everybody in Somalia is your responsibility. However, the government would provide you with all the support that you need to protect our citizens,” Roble told the officers.
He also commended them for ensuring that Mogadishu enjoys improved security and safety for its residents.
