Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble supervised the handover ceremony involving the newly appointed cabinet ministers on October 28.
The handover ceremony took place at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu.
During Thursday’s event, Roble witnessed Abdi Sabriye handing over the instruments of power to General Mukhtar Afrah, the new Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation.
The outgoing Minister of Internal Security, Abukar Islow, also handed over office to his successor.
Similarly, the immediate former Minister of Education, Abdullahi Godah Barre, handed over the office to his successor.
During the handing over ceremony, Prime Minister Roble expressed gratitude to the outgoing ministers.
He urged the new ministers to follow the stellar example set by the previous cabinet.
