Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has encouraged Somali National Army (SNA) to proceed with their onslaught against Al-Shabaab in Hiiraan.
The Prime Minister issued this encouragement on Thursday, August 26 while in Beledweyne.
He spoke after spending time in consultations with HirShabelle’s President Ali Hussein Gudlawe in Beledweyne.
Prime Minister Barre said that he visited the troops to build up their morale.
“My administration is prioritizing the liberation of areas that are under the control of Al-Shabaab militants,” Prime Minister Barre said.
He also directed that the wells destroyed by the militants be rebuilt with immediate effect.
