A prominent Somali journalist has passed away in Turkey.
The family and friends of Yasmin Mayow confirmed this disheartening news to the media on Saturday.
According to them, Mayow passed away on June 11.
Her family and friends confirmed that Mayow, who was a leading human rights activist, had been unwell for the last two years.
