Puntland has announced the dates for its district council elections.
The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) is prepared to hold district council elections on May 25, 2023.
President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland announced the date on Sunday.
The announcement comes even as TPEC continues with the voter registration exercise all over the regional state.
In the last couple of days, TPEC registered new voters in Bursalax, Towfiq, and Shimbiraaley.
