Puntland has concluded the months-long voter registration exercise for the upcoming local government elections (LGEs).
The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) concluded the exercise on March 15.
Abdirisak A. Said, the Chairman of TPEC, was among the last voters to be registered when the electoral body conducted the exercise in Garowe on Wednesday.
He commended all new voters who had registered for the LGEs.
Furthermore, Said heaped praise on the officials of TPEC for undertaking such a strenuous exercise successfully around the regional state.
