A court in the regional state of Puntland has sentenced six Moroccans to death for conspiring to kill Somalis.
It passed the judgment on Thursday.
The judge hearing the matter found the Moroccans guilty of training with the Islamic State terrorist group.
An Ethiopian and a Somali were sentenced to 10 years in jail each after their role was also established.
One other person was set free for lack of evidence.
