The United Kingdom encourages Somaliland to hold elections in November this year.
Mike Nithavrianakis, the UK Ambassador to Somalia, said this during his meeting with President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland.
Amb. Nithavrianakis and President Bihi met at the presidential palace in Hargeisa on Thursday.
The Ambassador said that it’s important for Somaliland to hold the polls in November this year.
They also discussed media freedom in Somaliland and other regional matters.
