Journalists in Puntland took to the streets to protest the decision by authorities to detain a local journalist incommunicado.
The journalists turned into protestors in Garowe streets on January 3, 2021.
They were protesting the arbitrary arrest of Kilwe Adan Farah, a Puntland journalist arrested for doing his work.
Authorities in Puntland arrested Farah for covering protests by the residents of Puntland over the poor economy.
While protesting his arrest, the journalists said that covering protests is not a crime.
Since his arrest, Farah has been kept incommunicado.
His colleagues, friends, and relatives have no idea where he is being detained. None of them has spoken with him either.
