President Said Abdullahi Deni, the regional leader of Puntland State, met with women civil servants on December 19.
Deni commended the incredible role that women serving in the regional civil service play in its development.
“The women of Puntland have played and continue to play a vital role in our society,” President Deni stated.
He added, “Without them, our governance would not have developed to its current level.”
According to President Deni, the women civil servants have also contributed to the improvement of the wellbeing of Puntland’s citizens.
President Deni’s meeting with the women civil servants took place at his office in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland State.
