President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland opened the regional information management center on December 6.
The information management center will operate from Garowe, which is Puntland’s administrative capital.
According to President Deni, the center will act as an information hub for collecting and analyzing data on land and water.
The European Union (EU) Delegation to Somalia funded the center’s construction and operations.
