Police in Puntland have launched investigations into the killing of a female comedian by her friend.
One suspect is already being held in custody to help police with the investigations.
Apparently, the comedian, identified as Anisa Abdulaziz, died when her friend, Nadiir Bile, shot her in unclear circumstances.
The two were traveling in the same car on February 24 when the incident took place.
Anisa is one of the most popular Somali comedians. Her skits, which she posts regularly on YouTube, are quite popular.
Bile, known in comedy circles as Liban Yare, has been detained and is scheduled to face murder charges in the next few days.
It is not yet clear how Bile and the rest of the group got their hands on the loaded gun.
