Puntland’s State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) has elected a new Vice-Chairman.
The regional SEIT elected Mohamoud Casayr Abdule Farah the new Vice Chairman on Wednesday, March 16.
Farah takes over from Aynaanshe Yusuf Hussein who recently resigned.
Hussein resigned from his post early this month.
The election of Farah as Puntland SEIT’s Vice Chairman comes at a time when the region is preparing to hold elections for the six remaining House of the People seats.
