A police station in Beledweyne came under an attack by militants.
Two people lost their lives in the attack while several more suffered injuries.
On Saturday, October 16, the government of Qatar issued a statement condemning through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In its statement, Qatar reaffirmed its decision and position rejecting violence.
The Middle East nation also rejected terrorism regardless of the motives and reasons behind it.
Qatari government expressed condolences to families that lost their loved ones in the attack.
It also wished the people injured in the attack a speedy recovery.
