Qatar has condemned the recent deadly explosion that took place at a security checkpoint in Somalia’s capital.
On Thursday, the Middle East nation sent a message of condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed in this week’s blast.
Two people lost their lives while several others were injured when an explosive device was detonated at a security checkpoint in Mogadishu.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on October 1 condemning the attack.
The condemnation reiterates Qatar’s position on violence and terrorism around the world. It has often hit out at those who perpetrate terror against innocent civilians.
In its statement, the Qatari government wished the injured speedy recovery.
