The Qatari Ambassador to Somalia has congratulated the East African nation for celebrating the 62nd anniversary of its independence.
Ambassador Hassan bin Hamza Hashim extended his congratulations to the government and people of Somalia on Friday, July 1.
The southern regions of Somalia gained independence in 1960.
Moreover, the southern and northern regions of the country unified to become one nation in that same year too.
