Somalia and Qatar are working on ways of increasing their cooperation in early warning systems.
This follows a Saturday meeting between officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) and Qatar Fund for Development (QFD).
Officials from both organizations discussed mutual collaboration on early warning systems as well as other important issues.
They agreed to hold further discussions on anticipatory action and emergency relief management among other issues too.
