Galmudug’s President Ahmed Abdi Kharie Qoorqoor held a virtual meeting with several foreign diplomats on December 15.
The foreign diplomats he met online included the Ambassador of the United Nations to Somalia.
The United States Ambassador to Somalia and his counterparts from the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) attended the meeting too.
Reports from the region indicate that Qoorqoor discussed several issues with the diplomats.
Top of the agenda was security and the ongoing parliamentary elections.
Insecurity has reared its ugly head once again in Somalia, especially with the ongoing elections for the House of the People (Lower House) seats.
