Radio Dalsan has been declared the best radio station during the recent Mogadishu Awards, which were held on Sunday, October 25.
The station defeated several competitors, such as Kulmiye News Network (KNN), which came in second.
With a listenership of roughly 5 million people, Radio Dalsan enjoys huge popularity from the masses around the country.
It has several sister stations in various parts of the country too.
These include Dhusamareb, Adado, Baidoa, and Jowhar.
The management of Radio Dalsan announced plans to set up a satellite in Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubbaland, before the end of this year.
Mogadishu Awards were launched in 2018 to celebrate the new generation of Somalis who excel in various fields.
