The Rural Electrification and Agriculture Development Organization (READO) donated farming supplies to vulnerable Somali families over the month of October.
READO issued a statement providing details of the supplies it has donated throughout October to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) around the country.
The supplies were for vulnerable households in the IDP Camps.
According to the organization, the supplies reached 750 vulnerable households in 16 IDP Camps spread around the East African nation.
READO stated that the supplies were for improving agricultural production.
It also clarified that its intention was to help vulnerable communities to access sustainable sources of income and food.
