Plans are underway to improve cooperation between Mogadishu and Belgrade.
This was announced earlier today following a meeting between the mayors of the two cities.
Mogadishu Mayor Yusuf Hussein Jimale is in Serbia.
He held discussions with Mayor Aleksandar Šapić of Belgrade in the Serbian capital.
They spoke about retwining of their cities.
Further, they agreed on the need to send Serbian engineers to Mogadishu.
The engineers would help their Somali counterparts to execute drainage and transport planning.
