Roble and Turkish Ambassador Discuss Somalia’s Drought Response

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia met on March 6 to discuss drought response.

Currently, Somalia is experiencing one of its worst droughts and humanitarian disasters of the last 40 years.

Millions of Somalis in the East African nation are at risk of starvation.

Animals are dying in their droves too.

Roble and Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz met on Sunday to discuss several issues pertinent to their respective nations.

Drought response was top on their agenda.

Apart from that, they spoke about Turkish investments in Somalia and other aspects of cooperation between their nations.
