Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble appointed committees to investigate the clashes between government troops and opposition in Mogadishu on February 19.
On Monday evening, Roble announced the appointment of two committees for this purpose.
The committees would investigate the causes of the clashes, which reportedly killed an unconfirmed number of protestors while injuring tens more.
The Prime Minister formed the two committees following a second round of talks with the Council of Presidential Candidates Union in Mogadishu on March 1.
Roble was meeting with the opposition candidates for the second time in five days.
The meeting took place at Aden Adde International Airport in the nation’s capital city.
