Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed a ministerial committee to look into the Beledweyne conflicts.
The Prime Minister appointed the committee on January 27.
While appointing the committee, Prime Minister Roble announced that its purpose would be to resolve the conflicts that have hit the region for the past few months.
The federal Ministry of Interior would lead the committee.
Roble announced the formation and purpose of the committee while chairing the latest Council of Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
The cabinet agreed to pull out federal troops that had been deployed in Beledweyne to calm the situation.
