Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed Abdisaid Muse Ali the new Somalia Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Muse Ali takes over from Mohamed Abdirizak.
Prime Minister Roble sacked Abdirizak on November 20.
Abdirizak was sworn into office on November 23.
Several leaders attended his swearing-in ceremony. These included Mohamed Mursal Sheikh, the Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House).
Consequently, Muse Ali becomes Somalia’s 25th foreign affairs minister.
During Tuesday’s event, Mohamud Abdi Hassan Pekos was also sworn in as the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.
