Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble called Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi over the destructive fire that razed a market in Hargeisa.
The fire destroyed assets and premises at Waaheen Market in the Somaliland capital on Friday, April 1.
Prime Minister Roble called President Bihi on Sunday.
He expressed solidarity with the people of Somaliland.
More than 2,000 traders with shops and businesses at the market have lost their livelihoods to the devastating fire.
Roble spoke of the “sadness” he feels for the victims of the fire.
