Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has congratulated the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) for publishing the list of new legislators.
FEIT published the list of newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators on March 31.
Roble said that FEIT had fulfilled its mandate as per the requirements of the electoral process that leaders agreed upon earlier this year.
In its announcement, FEIT said that the House of the People (Lower House) now had 245 MPs.
Further, the Senate (Upper House) has its full share of 54 Senators.
Jubbaland and HirShabelle are yet to conclude elections for their Lower House seats.
Prime Minister Roble also encouraged the leadership of the federal parliament to adhere to the swearing-in ceremony, which is scheduled for April 14 in Mogadishu.
