Outgoing Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has handed over the Office of the Prime Minister to Hamza Abdi Barre.
Roble handed over the powers and authorities of the office to Barre, his successor.
A handing-over ceremony was held in Mogadishu at the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday, June 28.
Barre has now officially started serving as Somalia’s 21st Prime Minister.
