Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with representatives of Somalia’s international partners in Nairobi.
Roble’s meeting with the ambassadors took place on Thursday, August 12.
The Prime Minister is currently in Kenya honoring an official invitation from President Uhuru Kenyatta, which Raychelle Omamo, the Kenyan Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered to him over the weekend.
Omamo was in Mogadishu for her maiden official visit to Somalia.
After meeting President Kenyatta in Mombasa, Prime Minister Roble traveled to Nairobi where he met with the diplomats.
He discussed the ongoing elections in the country with the partners.
Roble also spoke of the role that the international partners have in supporting Somalia’s elections technically and financially.
