Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble was in a phone conversation with the United States Assistant Secretary of State for Africa.
Roble’s phone call with Molly Phee took place on December 29.
The two leaders discussed several issues touching mostly on Somalia.
Among the issues that they addressed include the ongoing political situation in the East African nation.
Furthermore, they also spoke about security in Somalia.
The status of the ongoing parliamentary elections – and the presidential polls that should follow – also appeared in the list of topics they discussed.
