Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held talks with the new President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Roble’s talks with President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the UAE took place in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, May 22.
The Somali Prime Minister traveled to the UAE towards the end of last week to convey a message of condolences from the government and people of Somalia personally.
This follows the death of UAE’s late President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
During their meeting, the Somali Prime Minister and UAE President discussed several issues affecting their respective nations.
Importantly, they pledged to enable their countries to develop stronger diplomatic ties with each other.
