Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has instructed security agencies to deal decisively with terrorists threatening businesses in Mogadishu.
On January 27, Prime Minister Roble issued instructions to security agencies on this issue.
Specifically, he urged the Ministry of Interior Security to work closely with other agencies to arrest the terrorists behind the threats on local businesses.
Lately, many businesses have remained closed after their owners received threats from Islam State (IS) militants.
Apparently, the militants want the owners of the local businesses to pay tax.
Traders at Bakaaro market in Mogadishu had to close their businesses in fear of attacks from the militants.
Roble now expects the interior ministry and security agencies to develop plans for countering the terrorist threats and harassment.
