Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with two of Somalia’s former presidents on August 9.
Roble’s meeting with ex-Presidents Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Hassan Sheikh Mohamud took place at his residence in Mogadishu.
During the Monday meeting, the Prime Minister discussed the progress that the country has made in preparing for the upcoming elections.
Currently, Somalia is on an electioneering mood.
Two of the country’s Federal Member States (FMS) – Jubaland and Southwest – have already held senatorial elections.
The remaining states are scheduled to hold their polls soon.
Presidential elections have been earmarked for the end of the month.
