Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has started planning for the swearing-in of new Members of Parliament (MPs).
According to a communiqué from the Office of the Prime Minister, Roble met with the outgoing secretaries from the Senate (Upper House) and House of the People (Lower House).
His meeting with the secretaries of both chambers of the federal parliament took place at his office in Mogadishu on Wednesday, March 30.
Prime Minister Roble and the parliamentary officials discussed several issues.
Top on their agenda was the upcoming swearing-in ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on April 14.
Elections for only a few Lower House seats in Jubbaland and HirShabelle are yet to be concluded.
