Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has pledged US$200,000 for the completion of a local airport in Galmudug State.
Roble made the pledge during his ongoing tour of Galmudug State.
He arrived at Galmudug on Monday, December 14 to kick off the second leg of his tour of the five Federal Member States (FMS).
The Prime Minister has already toured Puntland State.
On Thursday, December 17, he pledged to release funds needed to complete construction of the long-awaited airport in Abudwak.
Roble was warmly welcomed as he visited the site where the airport is expected to operate once fully constructed and opened.
