Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has said that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) remains committed to increase the country’s revenue.
Roble said this on Saturday, October 31 during a tour of several government offices and facilities in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister visited the offices of the Ministry of Finance. He also toured the Central Bank and concluded the day by visiting Mogadishu Port.
Prime Minister Roble was inspecting the facilities and systems at these destinations.
During the inspection tour, Prime Minister Roble said that his administration is focused on the fighting against corruption.
Finance ministry and the Port of Mogadishu are two of the government offices most affected by corruption.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s government has carried a staunch anti-corruption campaign since coming into power.
