Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble is scheduled to hold another meeting with opposition leaders on March 1.
Roble’s meeting with the Council of Presidential Candidates Union is set to take place at Decale Hotel in Mogadishu.
The meeting is the second one in less than a week between the Prime Minister and the opposition candidates.
Last Thursday’s meeting eased tensions between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), Federal Member States (FMS), and the opposition.
When they met last week, the government side expressed regret over the violence meted on opposition candidates and their supporters on February 19 in Mogadishu.
The apology, which Roble rendered, encouraged the opposition to call off the rally it had planned for February 26.
