Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble visited the headquarters of the Central Bank in Mogadishu on September 2.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister indicates that Roble’s visit is part of the accountability of Financial Data and Management System.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister spent time with senior officers of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.
Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, the Governor of the Central Bank, briefed Prime Minister Roble on the latest fiscal situation in the East African nation.
Roble also received updates from the Office of the Accountant General.
