Roble Vows to Prosecute Killers of Female NISA Officer

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has promised to prosecute the people responsible for killing National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officer.

Roble made this vow on Tuesday, September 28.

He was speaking during an event held to allow candidates interested in vying for Somaliland’s regional Upper House seats were delivering their speeches.

The Prime Minister was speaking in reference to the recent disappearance and killing of Ikran Tahlil, a female NISA agent.

Her death caused huge rifts in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).

Roble had to sack Fahad Yasin, the then NISA Director. He also sent Hassan Hundubey Jimale, the then Minister of Internal Security, home.

Prime Minister Roble told the gathering that his wrangles with President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo would not stop him from pursuing Tahlil’s killers and bringing them to book.
