Mohamed Hussein Roble left Mogadishu for the first time to embark on an official visit anywhere in the country since becoming Prime Minister.
On Sunday, November 22, Prime Minister Roble embarked on an official visit to Baidoa.
“The first city I visit anywhere in the country since I became the new Prime Minister is Baidoa,” Roble said.
The visit is part of the 100-day programs that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) agreed on during the recent Council of Ministers retreat.
While in Baidoa, Prime Minister is expected to launch the projects that the government has already completed.
He would also be laying the foundations for new projects.
Roble expressed gratitude to the leaders and people of the Southwest State for according him warm welcome.
