Hassan Hundubey Jimale, the immediate former Minister of Internal Security, claims that he knows the people responsible for killing a female National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officer.
On September 16, Jimale claimed that a local organized crime syndicate killed Ikran Tahlil, the female intel officer whose death has rocked the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
Tahlil’s death forced Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble to sack Fahad Yasin from his position as the Director of NISA.
The Prime Minister followed this up by sacking Jimale too.
Jimale now says that he is privy to information showing that the syndicate of local mafia abducted Tahlil before finally killing her in Mogadishu.
Tahlil was abducted towards the end of June 2021.
