The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has turned back yet another plane from accessing the country’s airspace or landing in any airport.
SCAA blocked a cargo plane whose details show that it was registered in Thailand as P4-JAG.
The aviation authority blocked the plane on Thursday afternoon a day after doing the same for a commercial plane flying into Somalia from Somaliland.
According to SCAA, the plane was from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
SCAA accuses the plane’s owners of failing to provide the required information to enable its flight into the East African nation.
The plane was reportedly on its way to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland.
