Security forces in Mogadishu have defused an improvised explosive device (IED) that had been planted inside a vehicle.
The security personnel defused the bomb on Saturday, November 19.
According to military sources, the car was traveling to Bondheere, a district in the nation’s capital when it was stopped and the explosive defused.
An unnamed person had tipped the military regarding the presence of the bomb in the car.
No one was injured while defusing the explosive.
