Authorities conducted a massive operation in Mogadishu to arrest businessmen suspected of aiding the extortion activities of Al-Shabaab militants.
Officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) carried out the operation in different parts of Mogadishu on Saturday.
Their arrest is part of the multifaceted approach the government has taken in its ongoing fight against terrorist groups in Somalia.
