Residents of a village that is just on the outskirts of Mogadishu are in shock after a local Imam was killed.
Imam Moalim Ibrahim Abdi Abdulle died when Mukhtar Ali Hussein hacked him to death.
Hussein used a machete to hack the Imam to death.
Police have already arrested the suspect.
Hussein, who also serves as a Muadhan of the mosque in Garasbaley mosque, injured another man before fleeing the scene of the crime.
He committed the offense after a brief dispute with a young boy who served as the Imam’s helper.
Hussein and Imam Abdulle had earlier in the day led prayers at the mosque.
