Somali National Army (SNA) and African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) forces jointly raised an embankment along the Shabelle River.
The SNA and ATMIS teams raised the embankment on Friday.
Specifically, they put it up in Barire town.
Lately, several parts of the country have experienced heavy rains and flooding. There are fears that the rising water levels could cause flooding in the town.
