Somali Police Force (SPF) and the African Union Transition Mission to Somalia (ATMIS) have stepped up joint patrols in Mogadishu.
ATMIS Police Unit joined hands with the nation’s police force to beef up security in the capital city during the holy month of Ramadan.
Muslims all over the world are currently observing Ramadan.
The situation isn’t any different in Somalia either.
The government had assured members of the public that it would do all that is necessary to keep them safe and secure.
