Somali National Army (SNA) conducted a successful operation against Al-Shabaab militants in a Middle Shabelle village jointly with members of the local community.
Consequently, they succeeded in liberating Masajid Ali Gadud village from the tight grip of the Al-Shabaab terrorist group.
In the process, the joint operation led to the killing of more than 100 terrorists during the operation conducted on October 30.
The village has been strategic and critical for the terrorist group for a long time. Terrorists run a successful extortion and recruitment unit in the village.
