The Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) chief held talks with military commanders in Mogadishu.
SNA commander Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin held a meeting with the military leaders on Wednesday to discuss ways of accelerating the fight against Al-Shabaab militants.
Maj. Gen. Muhyadin asked his fellow leaders to honor the edict President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud recently issued.
He urged them to be ready to assume more responsibilities.
